How are you receiving 2019?

Like heartbeat rhythms in heartbeat diagrams, life is never static. As long as you live, you go through life's ups and downs. You enjoy its sunshine, and spend some times in its confusing dark shadows. We all go through this. The difference among all of us, however, is how we come out of this yearly journey. Better thinking methods? Stronger characters? More organized minds? Much purer souls? The question you have to always remember is about where you are going? Is your target clear? Or you don't have one yet?! How is the progress you are making toward your big dream? Do you even know what your big dream is? What is your life purpose so far?! You do not know?! No problem.. But are you willing/trying to know? If your answer is Yes, please know that it is never too late to re-shape your life and re-organize everything in your mind. The good news is: All what you need for this is YOU. Only . You are your precious gem. You are worthy of the toil; of spending every moment of ...

Key Symbols in Ancient Egyptian Civilization

Historical and Cultural Significances Ancient Egyptian civilization is among the most symbol-rich cultures in human history. Its visual lexicon—carved into temples, painted on tomb walls, and cast in precious metals—offered not only aesthetic splendor but also encoded layers of spiritual, social, and political meaning. Central to understanding this civilization is a study of its core symbols, each of which reflects profound beliefs about divinity, kingship, the afterlife, and cosmic order. Ankh One of the most recognizable and foundational symbols in ancient Egypt is the ankh , often referred to as the “key of life.” This hieroglyph, shaped like a cross with a loop at the top, symbolized eternal life and divine protection. It was commonly depicted in the hands of gods and pharaohs, signifying their authority over both the physical and spiritual realms (Wilkinson, 2003). The ankh was not merely decorative; it encapsulated the Egyptian view of life as a cycle, seamlessly connecting bi...

Self-Identification (2)

B) Honesty with the Self Honesty with one's own self is of high importance in one's way toward self-identification and self-discovery. In order to get in touch with your real and true life purpose, you need to get in touch with your true and real self first. This is your gateway. But how can you open it to get to meet your real self and be in touch with it? > Opening the gateway Opening the gateway to receive yourself requires openness and honesty. They go hand in hand. You can not be open enough to rediscover and re-shape your perception of your own self without being really honest with yourself about who you actually are. >> Obstacles on the way 1) Fear One of the biggest obstacles on the way is fear. It can be fear of discovering something that we are not prepared for, or expecting. It can be fear of were discovery would take us - away from our traditional routines and "zones of comfort". Overcoming the feelings of fear is essential at this po...

Self-Identification (1)

(A) Major Guideline of Self-Identification I'd like to re-initiate posting to you here with a statement of peace and light; because they are the true cores of our life and of our endless walking through its different paths. If we seriously think about it, we'll find out that we are always seeking one of them – either peace or light; or maybe both (because practically one of them leads to the other). The absence of one of them causes a state of (total) restlessness. It also disables our enjoyment of whatever gifts we have. > Release Distraction; get Inner Peace & Light In our pursuit of inner peace and inner light, we get distracted by endless factors: society, core ideas and beliefs, persons, and our perceived obstacles. But if our attention would not be brought back to these two goals, our lives would seem messy and almost everything in them is not right in its place . The real distraction I'm speaking about here is the distraction one experience away f...

The Do-Nothing-ism (1)

> The Do-Noting-ism, what is it? It is a state of being in which one is generally stagnate and discouraged; not motivated to take any action, feeling burdened and utterly hopeless and helpless. This state is strongly tied to one's blurred vision of one's own reality and truth, lack of self-understanding, and to seeing reality in a way that it actually is not. Please note: In this series of posts, this term is not meant to refer to the deliberate decision of doing nothing to pause and recharge your batteries. It rather discusses the undesirable and "uncontrollable" (self-)imposed feeling of "I want to stick where I am and not to take a step forward, because 'I can not', 'I do not qualify' or because 'I will not succeed'." > The Mind-Sets of the State of Do-Nothing-ism 1) Hope-less-ness This is when you feel depressed, "frozen in the pain of the current moment" forgetting your pleasant past of successes ...

The Gilgamesh Project

Humanity’s Scientific Quest for Immortality In his seminal book Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow , historian Yuval Noah Harari introduces the term “The Gilgamesh Project” to describe humanity's modern ambition to overcome death through technological and biomedical innovation. Drawing on the myth of Gilgamesh - the ancient Mesopotamian king who sought eternal life - Harari uses the phrase to signify the 21st-century drive to achieve biological immortality , not through myth or religion, but through science (Harari, 2017). This metaphor encapsulates a major paradigm shift: whereas past civilizations viewed death as an immutable divine decree, modern science increasingly treats it as a technical problem - a disease to be cured, delayed, or ultimately defeated. The foundation of the Gilgamesh Project lies in the convergence of biotechnology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence. These disciplines form what scholars describe as NBIC technologies (Nanotechnology, Biotech...
