What you should judge: ideas or people?

As a positive and productive person who is production-oriented, you should be aware of where you spend your energy. Nowadays, our environment is full of distractions of all kinds. If you do not choose where to go, you will be taken somewhere - consciously or unconsciously; with or against your will. So, it's much better for yourself and your own future to do it by yourself: to choose where to invest.

Talking about media and numerous platforms everywhere, there are endless numbers of "persons" who keep attacking each other through media, making fun of each other, or even bullying each other. Recently, we have seen lots of examples that manifest such "abuse" against individuals; the latest is Mr. Floyd's issue. However, what I'd like to communicate here is that it is not the idea of a specific person; it's rather the idea itself - the concept and the behavior. So whether we are with or against, always bear in mind that you are seconding or are against an idea, a belief or a pattern of behavior, but not necessarily a person.

It applies to every person in your life - literally: your parents, your siblings, your children, your boss, your clients, your teacher, your students... etc. All what really concerns you is a person's behavior toward you or anyone else. But how they naturally look or just be is none of your business and is not supposed to be something that you try to take control of or have a say in.

Let's take "influencers" as an example. People are usually attracted to their appearance, style, or attitude. They like them because they are kind, nice, attractive, able to affect them emotionally or intellectually. They seldom question their (i.e. the influencers') ideas, or even try to find the real "why" behind their aim to influence.

So, before just receiving ideas and embracing them, always do this rational "separation"-step of awareness. Separate between the "person" and the "idea" so that even though you may not really "like" the person or the institution, you still accept them and respect them because their ideas are valuable and human friendly, or you reject their ideas or stand against behavior; for in the end people are actually what they communicate: what they put out in the world. That's why you should judge ideas, not people.

Be all blessed.
