Bear this always in mind…

With darker color of skin I was born.
That’s how the Creator wanted me to look like!
Could I mind?!
Could YOU mind?!
Bear this always in mind…

In my mother’s womb, as well as
At the time of my birth,
I never had the choice…
Neither of the color of my skin,
Nor of the hour, place or timing
In which I was meant to see light.
We have the same organs, I think?!
We have eyes, we all have eyes!
We have arms and teeth!
Yes we have teeth!!

When injured, it is blood that comes out
Of out bodies... It’s always red!

And when we cry,
Transparent salty drops of tears
Roll down our faces. They’re always salty…

You didn’t choose to be white!
And blond…
And I didn’t choose to be black
With a deep cut that has been too old…
We did not choose. BUT

We can choose our words…
We can choose our acts…
We can choose our fates…
And thus, I chose not to run away from this
“Fate”!
I will stay with you here, at school,
As I'm staying with you here, on earth…
Sharing air and water with you, piece of me.
For I have a mind equal to yours,
I have the ability, and better than you,
I have the will.

KEEP HER OUT, BOYS, KEEP HER OUT!!!!
SPIT ON HER, GIRLS, SPIT ON HER!!!!
THROW ROCK AT HER!!!
THROW TRASH AT HER!!!
<Eat her alive! And chew her dark  flesh!>

Yes, do!
Despise the creation of the one who
Gave YOU this flesh!
Despise the creation of the one who
Made you “WHITE”.
Despise her, yes do! For no one
Could have ever exposed your ugly face
As you do…
You do it the best!

O prisoners of human ignorance!
Prisoners of fake arrogance and
‘Delightful conceit’.
Do whatever you please,
And on the day of judgment
You shall both again meet:
Eye to eye. And you will be asking for
Her forgiveness.
And you shall not be able to
Move a leg nor nail until SHE says it:
I do forgive…

And then you'll realize,
It is not a joke like you thought!
It is not so funny!
And it is not a dream that you can kill
By "WAKING UP".
It is reality and truth:
In blood and flesh.

Always remember this
And bear it in mind.

Oh! Finally, comments are available again! :)

This is such a piece of art! The whole thing. The poem with the photos. In this specific order. This is pure art. Pure and genuine. Perfect wording, impressive photos. All in all: Amazing, Admirable, and Breathtaking!

Thank you for such beautiful, thought-provoking and touching art!
So true, I did not choose to be Hungarian and with freckles all over my body! and my cousin (killed before age ten in 1944) did not choose to be born in a Jewish family - we are all as we are and we should recognise and celebrate the differences of each other.

My last conference I organize in London the 12 April is called "Celebrate differences" and we will with the presence of a German working in Bruxelles, a man from Ireland working in Munich and a woman from London working in Berlin, and a few from our London toastmasters too.
