The Worst Type of Solitude

"I'm not a stranger in my world, I'm always a stranger when I speak with peoplewho don't understand me, and who are not even willing to.. and that is the worst type of solitude!"

This type of solitude is not only experienced by people on the narrow scale of individual relationships. It also happens on the level of political communication between countries and their representatives. Sometimes being stubborn and holding onto seeing situations solely from your own perspective is a primary step for serious conflicts that can lead to acts of violence and abuse.

Being able to be open up for embracing different perspectives is a sign of maturity; the maturity of personality on the personal scale, or the maturity of stance if the scale is a bigger, political, or international. This type of maturity also represents power and imposes an implicit act of dominance that automatically tranfers power to the hands for the more comprehensive, diplomatic and mature side.
