Priorities Must Come First

A priority is whatever fills the first position in your mind, consumes most of your energy and is “more important to you than anything else” - because it is urgent

The sense of urgency comes from your constant need to do it, or to make it happen.

You may have a long list of "important" tasks, but in this same list there are your priorities too. So, how do you identify your priorities?

I suggest that you follow the "listing" method according to which you write down a list of the most important 15 to 20 things that you need to do in your life. Then, from this list, choose only 5 urgent things and keep working on them with focus and determination. Create your detailed plans and keep working with the details until you get where you need to be. Plans and details may change, develop or be replaced along the way, but your main aim - your priority remains as it is.

And always remember: A river cuts through rock, not because of it's power, but because of it's persistence.
