Self-Identification (3)

C) Steps Toward Self-Identification

To be able to identify the truth of yourself is to be able to live according to the divine life-purpose you've been brought here in this particular time to fulfill. Identifying your own true self is extremely important, because it puts you on your right life track. It is highly enlightening and highly empowering - in the sense that it gives you a real and true sense of self-worth. At least you will know why you are here - now.

1) List, order & reorder

The first thing you need to do is noticing your distinctive skills and qualities. Noticing them implies identifying and listing them. Then sift your perceived skills and qualities. Reduce their number, and try to know which skills and qualities are really true to you - and are not attributed to you by some "external source/authority". You can also in this process come to identify the skills that you need to acquire and learn.
This stage will make your true and real potentials visible to you that you will be able to decide what skills you really wish to reclaim to develop your potentials to their best.

2) Identify your habits

By habits I mean your mental habits; because they determine so much about how you lead your life. They are like pointing arrows that take you in a specific direction and toward a particular destiny - even if it is not yet clear or identifiable to you; you will inevitable end up there if you keep such habits. This step will help you identify the habits that you can/should reclaim, and which ones should be replaced. Undesirable mental habits include "self-doubt", "second-guessing", "procrastinating", "making excuses", "harsh self-criticism" and others. It is possible to overcome such harmful habits once you identify their presence and most importantly you decide to change them.

3) Refocus

In refocusing, you are redirecting your attention to your most distinctive qualities and potentials. You are focusing on what special things you can do, or services you can offer for free or take as a career to  help people anywhere. This is when you can ensure that you start living your own true life - the one you are meant to live in your here and now.

4) Develop and "stretch"

During the process of self-identification, you will definitely find yourself discovering problems, and highlighting them as obstacles or things that just need to go through some change or upgrading. Go through this enjoyable process, no matter how painful and/or challenging it could be. It will be rewarding in the end. It will leave you a better person with a better mind and a stronger and deeper awareness of your true self and of your real life goals.

5) Rebuild your life

This is the best part of it; when you see your best self and you are being guided to fulfilling the divine purpose you are created for. This process is an ongoing process; it is ongoing with your ongoing growth. It helps you keep your life up-to-date with your developing needs and developed abilities and skills. It will help you see a new you everyday and make your life the best life you could ever make.
Making, rebuilding and upgrading your life is challenging and needs much work, but it is deeply rewarding.

Happy rebuilding to you.
