(A) Major Guideline of Self-Identification
I'd like to re-initiate posting to you here with a statement of peace and light; because they are the true cores of our life and of our endless walking through its different paths. If we seriously think about it, we'll find out that we are always seeking one of them – either peace or light; or maybe both (because practically one of them leads to the other). The absence of one of them causes a state of (total) restlessness. It also disables our enjoyment of whatever gifts we have.

> Release Distraction; get Inner Peace & Light
In our pursuit of inner peace and inner light, we get distracted by endless factors: society, core ideas and beliefs, persons, and our perceived obstacles. But if our attention would not be brought back to these two goals, our lives would seem messy and almost everything in them is not right in its place. The real distraction I'm speaking about here is the distraction one experience away from oneself; from one's real abilities, skills and potentials.

Along the past years, and still up till the current moment, I've been
witnessing a great number of people who are so busy copying others, comparing themselves
to others, and comparing and contrasting their life journeys, achievements, and
life goals with other people's – or even worse, comparing their children to
their peers or classmates.
> Distraction from the the self, distraction from divine purpose
Distraction from the self is actually a distraction from God's purpose(s) in our lives. We are supposed to mirrors of God. When we are distracted by what we think we should be, what society thinks we should be, what our parents think we should be, what our friends think we should be, we end up too much concerned with what this whole external thing wants us to be or thinks we should be.
The only way to find the real purpose from your presence here is being with yourself; listening to what it has to tell you about you, and following the voice inside you spoken by your unique divine gifts.

> What distraction actually does to us
That distraction absorbs our energies, consumes our time and years on earth, and eats up the peace
of our minds. Rather than focusing on our stages of development we become so busy watching what anyone thinks we are supposed to be - or even worse, whom we should follow as an example to be the best version of ourselves. Thus we spend years hindering ourselves and doing ourselves really no good. Instead, understand that you are different, unique and can be creative. You have your own path. You shall walk it. Just focus on your own potentials; the potentials bestowed upon you by God and you will be on the right path living your own life, not a life you think you should live, or a life dictated upon you by whosoever.
> Why you should stop comparing yourself to anyone?
> Why you should stop comparing yourself to anyone?
It is important to notice, and realize, that everyone of us has a distinctive set of qualities, abilities, and natural skills. We are not all the same, and we are not meant to be so. What really matters about this piece of information is the way we act based on our knowledge of it - that is because you may notice and realize something but not take it into consideration in your daily course of life. What is essentially important here is shifting your focus; from your classmates, peers and colleagues, society or whoever, and start discovering your own self all anew.
Do not busy yourself chasing, or running to catch someone's achievement - or even worse, beat them. Never let anyone's achievements make you feel less or insecure. Never let anyone's success make you feel so little, or challenged. Nothing can really challenge you but your own history. This is the only thing that is worth your attention. Never lose sight of whom you used to be, of the progress you have achieved/are achieving, and of the best version of you that your natural skills and divine gifts qualify you to be someday. Equally important, distract yourself from wasting your time doing this exhausting practice by shifting your focus to building yourself.

You know that you are on a wrong path when you feel inner discomfort, pain, or challenge. You may experience these feelings even though your mind tells you that "it is good for you" to "keep going" or that it is "good for you" or "for your own good" to keep "copying an example or person", or going in a specific direction, or drawing aspiration from a specific single source.
Listen to these feelings of discomfort. They have a strong message for you.
Listen to these feelings of discomfort. They have a strong message for you.
You may have such feelings, but decide to "put them aside" and keep going. You also may resist them trying to tell yourself that your discomfort is because you are not yet ready. But I'd like to tell you that the kind of painful toil that you experience in the direction of your true life purpose is totally different from the one you experience in the wrong direction. The first one feels right despite the pain, the second one is just not. Even if you are not deciding to take a new direction, you can still take the same direction with a totally new perspective about yourself. You will be challenging your old self, not others.
> How do you know you are resisting guidance?
> How do you know you are resisting guidance?
Each one of us has an honest inner guide. A soft voice that speaks truths about our true selves, wants, needs, and life goals. Because of that distraction, you do not seem to listen to this inner guide. Even when it is loud enough to be heard, you are too much distracted and too much busy running after goals that are not yours, convincing yourself that the world (or anybody else) knows what is better for your more than you actually do. So, you neglect it and you keep going behind the preset goals of challenge and chase (of achievements and success) - maybe to win a comparison to someone, and so you forget who you actually are and what you are meant to be.
Resisting your inner guide will only produce more pain, confusion and restlessness, and will keep you going on a way that is not yours. In the end you will find yourself lost - because you would be reaching a destination that does not match your inner qualities and potentials. This confusing and disappointing end is a result of excessive focusing on others and on external circumstances instead of the careful examination of one's own qualities, potentials and real wants and needs.

> Identifying the right path - your path
To identify your own true self and know your real path, give yourself the time and chance to listen to what your own self has to tell you. Let your inner guide show you the light inside yourself. Let your instinct and your natural skills fearlessly take you where you are meant to be –
where you will feel deep inner peace, where you will feel everything is right, enjoyable, pleasant, and complete. Then you'll be standing tall doing "your own thing," and really proud of yourself.
Someone once said that comparing yourself to others insults your uniqueness. This does not sound unfair. You are here for a purpose - even if it is not yet clear or identifiable to you. Note that the guide to this purpose is the passion put inside your heart toward a specific activity or thing. Follow this guide and enjoy your journey. Do not let your concern with journeys of others hinder your steps or distract you from your own unique life path.
